Aileen Campbell, a native of Aberdeen, Scotland has collected and illustrated, as only she could, many familiar poems and stories with deep roots in Scottish heritage. As a lousy cook myself, I felt so encouraged by reading her recipes, they seemed so simple, so straightforward, and they were real food. Medicine was still a mystery, no one knew why fevers came or how to cure them. I live in Virginia, but grew up on the west coast so I wanted a resource to help me find age appropriate day trips that our family could take. It's a pretty simple premise--a young girl gets a puppy and explores how he spends his day and what he does. I also downloaded some other coloring books: Botanical Mandalas, Beautiful Mandalas, Wildlife, Floral Mandalas, Nature Mandalas, and Kaleidoscope Mandalas. Everyone freaks out about the math, but it is a small portion of the exam.This book is essential.My only complaint is thatHe has written several books and innumerable articles about the genre. Tom Davis is widely acclaimed as the foremost writer on wildlife and sporting art and artists. A contributor to numerous publications, he serves as Senior Editor for Sporting Classics and as Editor-at-Large of Pointing Dog Journal. Davis makes his home in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife Joan, stepdaughter Sophia, and three bird dogs.
